Sábio doutor Leopoldo. Ele bem que aconselhou:“agradeça a Deus e não conte a ninguém”. Foi o que disse o bom e velho doutor quando contei que Daniel, meu pequeno de então 4 meses, já dormia anoite toda. Naquele momento acho que nem dei o devido valor a uma noite inteira de sono. Daniel não dorme mais. Ele se recusa a deitar etirar umas boas horas de sono seguidas. Errei.
Espalhei por aí sobre suas inabaláveis noites de sono. E até me gabei um pouco, é verdade. Já cantei, ninei, conversei, rezei, acendi vela, expliquei que 8 horas de sono restauram processos químicos e físicos deteriorados durante o dia, estimulam o desenvolvimento cerebral e ajuda na memória.
Será que ele sente calor? Será que sentefrio? Fome? Sede? Medo? Dor? Ele abre os olhos e chora. Berra. Quer, exige a nossa presença. A nova pediatra explica: 8 meses é a fase que o bebê sente a separação dos pais. Filhote, estamos aqui! No quarto ao lado. Papai não foi pra roça, mamãe está desempregada e ai da Cuca que se aproxime de você. Apenas algumas horas de sono e papai e mamãe estarão prontos e felizes para brincar com você novamente.
Esta noite – 13 de junho de 2006 – dia de estréiado Brasil na Copa, ele dormiu. Depois de 32 dias e algumas horas, você teve o sonho dos anjos. Lindinho, olhos fechados, respiração ritmada, companheirinho nos braços, silêncio, noite estrelada, a vida é bela!
O mais importante: dessa vez não abro o bico. Fica entre nós.

Cristiana, não sei como foi contigo e com o Luca mas aqui a coisa não foi fácil. A Gabriela só começou a dormir a noite toda depois dos 3 anos, mas isso foi atribuído ao refluxo, e o Rafa foi dormir uma noite inteira com mais de um ano. Para mim essa é a pior parte da maternidade, quando consigo dormir a noite toda o resto parece bam mais fácil de resolver.
